Location: Amsterdam – we work from the office on Mondays and Thursdays; the rest of the week is flexible. 
Hours: 24-32hours per week 
Startdate & duration: +/- 6 months

At Talk360, we’re on a mission to connect African migrants around the world with their family and friends, and we’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Social Media & Content Intern to help us grow and engage our community.

The Role 
We’re looking for a proactive Social Media & Content Intern who has strong connections with our audience and who’s curious, creative and data driven and ready to roll up their sleeves. You’ll help us by creating and sharing content, engage with our community, and make sure our content reaches the right people in the right way. 

This is a hands-on role where you’ll get to try out lots of different things, from content creation and distribution to campaign reporting and optimization. We don’t expect you to know it all from day one; what matters most is that you have a growth mindset, take proactive ownership of your work, and aren’t afraid to ask for help when you need it. 

Job Requirements 

  • A student or recent grad in Marketing, Media, Communications, or something similar. 

  • Strong writing skills in English (bonus if you also know French, Arabic, or an African language). 

  • Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn). 

  • Familiar with tools like Canva, Webflow, Google Analytics or eager to learn them fast. 

  • An analytical creative thinker who loves experimenting and isn’t afraid to try new things. 

  • You have a proactive attitude, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment. 

Job requirements

Responsibilities  
Create: Write posts, design visuals and experiment with videos and other formats that resonate with our audience (for more complex things our designer can help). 
Share: Schedule and post content on social media focusing on reaching and engaging with the right audience, and update the website/blog when needed. 
Engage: Interact and join conversations with our communities, respond to comments and messages, and keep an eye on trends. 
Learn & Optimise: Track performance (likes, shares, clicks), share simple reports, and suggest what we can do better. 
Grow: Bring your ideas to the table, whether it’s a new format, campaign, way to connect with the community or a whole new social media strategy. ;-)
