Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam-based, with remote flexibility) 

Hours: 32 hours per week 

About the Role 
Are you ready to bring your finance skills to an innovative, fast-paced environment? At Talk360, we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. 

You’ll have real responsibility from day one and gain hands-on experience across three exciting companies: Talk360, NjiaPay, and Fast Editor. Working closely with your manager Fabio and our external accounting firms, you’ll dive deep into global finance operations, contribute to process improvements, and help ensure our books stay sharp and compliant.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including processing and raising invoices, and payroll booking. 

  • Manage accounts receivables and payables, including preparing payment orders and reporting. 

  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records. 

  • Prepare and monitor asset and capital expenditure reports. 

  • Handle VAT submissions on a monthly/quarterly basis. 

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax returns. 

  • Collaborate actively with our Accounting Firm to finalize yearly financial statements. 

  • Contribute to financial process improvements, ensuring efficiency and compliance. 

Job requirements

Who You Are: 

  • Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Dutch General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional EU languages is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with accounting software like Exact Online or Xero is a bonus. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. 

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to take ownership of your work. 

  • Adaptable to change and motivated to grow in a dynamic startup environment.
