Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam-based, with remote flexibility)  

Hours: 32-40 hours per week 

About the Role: 

Are you ready to make a positive impact while being part of an exciting, purpose-driven international scale-up? At Talk360, we’re looking for a dynamic CRM Specialist to help further activate and retain our users and therefor create growth across the globe. 
 
You’ll play a crucial role in a company used by over 500,000 monthly active users, with a strong focus on further international expansion. We’re seeking a professional with a track record of converting users into paying customers, and keeping them. You’ll be driving experimentation, moving seamlessly from planning to testing, and bringing proven experience to the table: at least three years, ideally in a btc start-up or scale-up environment. 
 
You’ll take ownership of CRM campaign management, bring a data- and target-driven mindset, and work cross-functionally to develop initiatives that lead to funnel-specific growth. As CRM Specialist, you’ll report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate closely with our colleagues in marketing, data, product, support, and sales. Your focus? Building and executing CRM strategies and initiatives that support our growth goals among African migrants in South Africa, Europe, the US and the UK.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Take proactive ownership of increasing conversion, retention, activation and revenue through effective CRM strategies and day-to-day execution for all Talk360 users in our key markets. 

  • Ideate, create, and launch engaging CRM experiments and campaigns across key channels, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS. From App Store interactions to in-app onboarding flows, in collaboration with our product designer. You’ll work on both seasonal, one-off campaigns and always-on automated flows based on customer data and behaviour. 

  • Analyse the performance of your campaigns with support from our data team. You’ll make data-driven decisions, propose improvements, and run A/B tests to find what works best,  whether that’s by segment, market, funnel stage, message, promotion or pricing. Report regularly on key growth KPIs related to customer retention, satisfaction and revenue. 

  • Dive into customer data to uncover trends, patterns and insights that shape our strategic choices, again, with the support of our data team. Develop smart segmentation strategies to personalise communication and marketing efforts. 

  • Build a deep understanding of the customer journey and map out conversion funnels to spot and address drop-off points, turning insights into action to improve conversion across all stages.  

Job requirements

Who are you?  

  • You bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience running experiments to improve retention and conversion, whether as a key collaborator or leading specific campaigns and initiatives. 

  • You have in-depth knowledge of CRM channels, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in areas like email marketing, push notifications, SMS, and re-marketing/targeting. 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional EU languages is a plus.  

  • You have strong analytical skills, and you know how to turn data into clear, actionable insights. SQL skills are a big plus!

  • You’re driven by execution, data, and clear targets. You love to experiment, testing, learning, optimising, and knowing when to scale or kill an idea. 

  • You’re a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively across teams and disciplines.

  • A self-starter by nature, you take proactive ownership of your work, from ideation to execution and continuous optimisation based on results. 

  • You have experience with understanding, mapping and improving conversion across the customer journey and sales funnel. 

  • Experience with CleverTab Tool a big plus (we are switching from Intercom to CleverTab)
